I recently switched back to macOS (from linux) and wanted something that looked nice and handled my relatively simple needs. I have tried to use Moneydance for personal/family finances but in the end I decided to bite the bullet and go back to Quicken. For my wife's business our needs are simple - import transactions, categorize them, and then at the end of the year generate some reports by category and provide to our accountant so he can prep the returns for us. But like the other response stated - I am not in love with the UI. I've used Moneydance for years for my wife's business.
